jailbroken 3.0 to iOS4??

I currently have a jailbroken iphone 3G 3.0 (that i never bothered to upgrade to 3.1). In able to upgrade to iOS4, would I just allow itunes 9.2 to upgrade to iOS4 and then jailbreak with redsn0w?
