Jailbroken 3g push notification not working. Please help!!!!!

My 3g is jailbroken when i ought it and it doesnt receive push notifications for facebook, twitter, whatsapp and other social apps. Tried SAM and it doesnt work either as well as other means i cud find on the internet. Please help
