Jailbroken 3gs data plan help

I have an AT&T sim card with a monthly contract that I use in my Jailbroken/Unlocked 3GS. I added the unlimited data and text feature to my monthly plan and I'm having trouble using the internet on edge/3g. I've tried restarting and fussing with some settings but to no avail. Any help/ideas would be much appreciated.
