JailBroken 4S + SBSettings + 3G toggle, Does assisted-GPS still works in EDGE?

One of the main problems with my 4S is the assisted-GPS which uses the cell stations to approximate my location only works under 3G signal. So when I'm under 2G coverage, I cannot get my location indoor unless I turn on wifi to to connect to a hotspot.
Anyone tried if the toggle is in 2g and wifi is off, the 4s is able to get location?

mine has been working and it also works with the setup you requested. there is a blue circle and the map is loading slow but it does work over edge.
