I've read that someone was able to SFTP into their iPod touch (or iPhone) and drag and drop applications from Installer into the "Applications" section in iTunes 7.7 and they show up!!! The question is whether they can then be added to the new firmware 2.0 on the iPhone.

Can someone with the firmware 2.0 try and see if you can then add them to your device?

How about you give people a chance to jailbreak it, Mmkay? It's been out all of one hour.

Clearly the focus of every post in the last few months deals with the general impatience of the public to receive and play with their phone.

I already have a jailbroken iPod touch. If i can download things on there and put them in iTunes, then put them on my iPhone 3G, I won't ever have to jailbreak the iPhone 3G.

Make sense?

Also, if people were patient, then no one would discuss the 3G until tomorrow when it comes out, right?
