[Jailbroken iPad 1G iOS5] How to enable Airplay mirroring?

Hi there,

First of all: please pardon my English, I'm not a native speaker

I enjoy Airplay mirroring with my iPhone4S and ATV2, and would love to use it on my first-gen iPad too.

I've installed iOS5 on it, and I've used the tethered jailbreak provided by RedSn0w in order to apply the plist trick I've found everywhere. Well, that doesn't activate Airplay mirroring at all. I realized later that that was supposed to activate mirroring through HDMI, which is not what I'm looking for.

So: is there any trick/hack/spell that would truly activate this gorgeous wireless mirroring feature on my 1st gen iPad?

It is currently unknown how to enable this feature on older iDevices at this time.

This should enable gestures and mirroring - I can confirm gestures work but I'm awaiting my digital av adapter to try the mirroring option.

That only enables mirroring through the HDMI/VGA adapter. Not AirPlay mirroring.
