It seems to happen randomly, it just goes blank. Hitting the home button brings it back, but kicks me out of the app im using. Any one having this issue? I don't wanna go through the hassle of restoring the os if there is something else easier I can do to fix it. I'd appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

Jailbroken iPad screen goes blank randomly

Might not help you much but this happens with my iphone 3g when I open sbsettings. The screen just goes out and I have to press the home button. I guess it's just a bug, part of the joys of jailbreaking.
Thanks, not exactly what mine is doing though. If it is sitting for a moment without any input, the screen just goes blank. It's not often & it's random, so I'm not sure if it's because of something I installed from cydia, or a bad iPad.
