Thanks for taking the time to read my question. I need help and I've searched all night for solutions but I either don't understand or nothing quite answers my question.
So I have a jailbroken Iphone 3gs with 3.1.2. (my friend jailbroke it for me cause I don't know how to do any of that stuff and I wanted custom text messaging, mail, lock and unlock sounds. I would ask for his help, but I moved 6 hours away from him)
My problem is that the laptop i had my itunes on, won't start up anymore so i havent used it in months and my iphone hasnt been up updated, synced or backed up at all.
A friend of mine got a new mac so she took all her files off her old PC laptop and gave it to me. I downloaded itunes to the computer and authorized it with my itunes account, but how do I backup my iphone to it without losing any of my jailbroken settings (like my custom sounds, themes ive downloaded) music, photos, texts, apps, etc and being able to sync it in the future?
I don't know if my iphone being jailbroken makes anything easier but I could really use any help that I can get. Thank you so much for your time!
