I recently got a newer iPhone but ended up holding onto the older 4th gen 8GB phone I had been using and I've also recently become more interested in the technical aspects of some of the things we all depend on these days.
Anyway I decided to jailbreak my old phone really just because I felt like trying to. I'll probably never take advantage of the phone's new advantages but Ive been hearing different things about what one might be sold for. This is by no means a solicitation; I'm just trying to figure out the worth of a Jailbroken iPhone 4. I've heard both that doing this makes them more valuable as well as less depending on who I ask. It's long past warranty anyway so to my mind the only possible negative to a Jailbroken phone ceases to be a negative when Apple makes you pay for service on the device again. I'll be looking into it on my own but thought this would be an appropriate forum for intelligent feedback on the matter.
