Hi all,

Would greatly appreciate any help please.

I have an iPhone on iOS 4.0.1, jailbroken. I recently updated iTunes to 10.1.2. This is so that I can update my iPad to 4.2.1 and jailbreak it.

Now, my iTunes can sync with my iPad just fine.

But it doesn't sync with my iPhone. At first when I plug in the iPhone, it will just go through the four steps of syncing, but at the very last after it says sync completed, my iPhone becomes stuck. I have to reboot it, and it boots up in safe mode. I then exit safe mode. Upon checking the phone, I found that nothing is synced to the computer.

Then I thought iTunes might be the problem, so I downgraded iTunes, but no luck. Still the same. I upgraded iTunes again and still the same - cannot sync. Worse, now iTunes doesn't go through the 4 steps and does not auto-sync with the iPhone. It detects the iPhone, but doesn't sync. When I hit 'sync' at the iPhone icon, iTunes completes the sync quickly and the iPhone becomes stuck again.

Would greatly appreciate any help, thank you!
