jailbroken: stuck on reboot & itunes won't work

I have just recently jailbroke my Iphone 3gs 16g using Spirit. I tried to erase the jailbreak but instead.. my iphone is stuck on the apple reboot screen. I have tried to hold the home button & the power button (http://iphonedownlow.com/?p=5). Sometimes the screen shows I need to connect to itunes and sometimes it doesn't. But when Itune does show up it says I cannot connect to the iphone.



ps. I do have the LATEST itunes. PLEASE HELP!

NEVERMIND!! I've found a way! I had to go to task manager, Processes tab, right click Itunes.exe, End process to get my Itunes to work & then plug in the my iphone. Then I held home and the power button. LOL
