James Caan passed away today at 82. I have many enjoyable cinematic memories from this fine gentleman. RIP

Caan was also well known for roles in "Brian's Song," "Misery" and NBC's "Las Vegas."

Terrific actor; some of the roles he played (Sonny Corleone in The Godfather, and his role in Misery) were nothing short of superlative.

RIP; sorry that he is no longer with us.
