Jampack 4 and Garageband 1

I read that Jampack 4 doesn't have full functionality with Garageband 1. Is this true? If so, what are the problems with it. On a side note, does anyone know where I could find a list of the instruments Jampack 4 adds? Thanks.

It was designed on top of Garage Band 2 and uses features that Garage Band 1 doesn't have.

A generic description of the instruments is on Apple's Website - Jam Pack 4. I think the only way to get the full list may be to find someone who's already bought it.
