iPod touch January Update and Restore

Hey Guys,

I have a quick question.

I purchased the ipod touch software update with the new apps.

I am just curious as to what will happen if i ever restore my ipod.

Will it erase these apps?

Sorry if its a stupid question just wanted to clarify.

When you go to restore chose the backup. Every time you update your touch itunes creates a backup.
