Pro-whaling nations have won their first vote towards the resumption of commercial whaling for 20 years.

So what are your thoughts? I'm against whaling in general, but I don't have any scientific facts to back it one way or the other.

I had my first taste of whale during my Iceland trip this past February. I was less than impressed. Think fillet of sole, but not a fish - but rather shoe leather.

I have not kept up on the issue, but my take on the issue is one of what is possible while ensuring that we don't kill off the whale population.
