Sunday was an election day in Japan. I was browsing through the site of the LDP, and I came across this, might be of interest to those mac fanatics out there: http://www.s-abe.or.jp/
It shows Mr. Abe(part of Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's cabinent) using a powerbook with some trite terminal commands about a new Japan in the background.
Omoshiroi! (Interesting!)

Interesting! I'm not sure why he had the terminal commands on the background (did the text explain it?)... but pretty cool!

Powerbook in ads

Hi

It's an ad. I have the feeling that in over 50% of the advertising they show a Powerbook as a laptop/notebook. It's a pity that Powerbooks don't have the same share of the "real" market.

So see this as an ad and not a personal preference of the politician.

Yep

In this week's TIME magazine, there is a pagespread with pictures of John Kerry and his new running-mate John Edwards. There is a picture of Kerry calling Edwards to officially invite him to join, and he's sitting at his desk with a Titanium Powerbook, Apple logo full in view.

Only Titanium?

I'm sure A. Gore could get better for old friends...
