Japanese Words
I'm the developer of Japanese Words! My app lets you make simple Japanese flashcards quickly. Just enter English, hiragana and kanji for the words you want to study, and it shows them to you in random order.
The killer feature is that Japanese Words lets you study the way you want to by customizing what appears on the front and back of cards:
- If you just want to study English meanings, you can have hiragana and kanji appear on the front and have English appear on the back.
- Alternatively, if you want to study hiragana and kanji, you can have just English appear on the front.
- Let's say you want to strictly study how to write kanji. In that case you can have English and hiragana appear on the front and then make yourself write down the kanji on a piece of paper.
Any combination of English/hiragana/kanji appearing on the front/back is possible.
My ideal study pattern is to first "immerse" myself in my list of words by showing just kanji on the front and everything on the back. Then I switch it up and show kanji and hiragana on the front to make myself remember the English meanings. Finally, I change it to show only English on the front and everything on the back.
Add words wherever you are and study them however you want. Japanese Words makes it easy to add words to a list, study them, and move on.
