I have a G5 power PC running 10.4.11 and I'm wondering can anyone get Java 1.6 working on their Power PC. Because I have no idea how to update. It says your supposed to system update but only 10.5s can get the update. There's this thing http://landonf.bikemonkey.org/static/soylatte/ but I can't figure it out. So has anyone got it working? And if they have please tell me how they did it!

Edit: Also If I update to 10.5 will it help?

The latest Java for PPC is 1.5. You can get 1.5 by moving to OS 10.5.

There is a Java 1.6 for OS 10.5 but its Intel 64bit binary only.

Well that sucks... thanks anyway. I'll try updating. Maybe 1.5 is good enough.
