I am on the latest version of Mac OS and I am curious about playing minecraft.

I played runescape for ages but quit after the bot busting update. (the game became super laggy)


I was curious how minecraft runs.

I can't play runescape due to lag, but I want to know if I will be able to play minecraft before I buy it.

Don't think you should have a problem. I play minecraft on a 2010 11" MBA and it runs fine. If I turn it down to low settings (and face it, its minecraft graphics so there is not much difference), I can play without the fans even going off.

If notch would actually take some time to implement the graphics properly, it would fly. Minecraft is just horribly optimized. Anyway, you shouldn't have any problems with Minecraft with your machine.
