Hey all,

I'm trying to install the latest version of Java from the Javas website and it doesn't seem to want to install. I get to the "this will take up 151MB..." Installation type screen, click "Install" and nothing happens.

Anyone else having this problem?

I'm on 13A598 and I have had no problem with Java. In fact, I'm even running Oracle SQL Developer which is Java based and have no problems.

Ahh, alright - must not be the OS then, I'll try D/Ling again and reinstalling.

Yeah I'm running

java version "1.7.0_45"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_45-b18)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.45-b08, mixed mode)

Up and running - not sure if there was a Java App running in the background at the time or anything else.

I just re-downloaded and restarted, everything seems to be working :D
