So I play this game called RuneScape (don't hate), which runs using Java. Everything was running fine, then I updated my Java on June 28th, 2011. Ever since I installed that Java update, every time I hit a "loading screen" on the game, it causes my iTunes or Quicktime to skip playback for a split second.

Could this be an issue with the Java update (10.6 Update 5) or is it a software issue? If so, is there a way to fix it without professional help? I've asked other people who use Macs that play the same game and it seems to be only me.

Cheers, Luc
