Java problem

I was trying to play an online game and all that showed up on the screen was the big grey java logo. I thought I had java installed though.

Java is installed on OS X by default, but it's possible you don't have the correct version installed. Check your software update and then try again.

Java applets sometimes take a while to load. If you waited longer than 5 minutes and still got nothing, make sure your Java installation is up to date first, and also check your Java settings. There's a little app in your Utilities folder for managing Java.
