Hi..

Just wondering if anybody knows of a cure for my mac problem. I use a chat room which uses a Javascript... and it keeps on crashing! :( This has happened on my G3, G3 Powerbook and now my G5 imac. The chatroom seems to work fine on friends PCs. Is there anything I can download to help stabalise it?

Thanks

Javascript has nothing to do with Java, BTW.

Yes. Download & install Netscape 7.1 or some other browser, and use that to access the chat room. Javascript is a known compatibility problem with Safari. You could try IE (5.2 is the latest version on Macs).

Is it a javascript chat room or a java applet chat room? I know EZBoard has one built into the forums that run on it, which only works properly with IE or Firefox.... It seems to be okay in Safari but locks up the whole Safari session after a few minutes....

aha ... thanks

To be honest I haven't a clue about it all  BUT I downloaded Firefox and so far so good! It hasn't crashed at all tonight :D

Thanks again
