Any java program I use on my macbook (core2duo, 2Ghz, tiger 10.4.8) doesn't display correctly. Parts of the GUI just don't load, and I can't see them. For example, when i tried to use Freemind, it doesn't load - most of the GUI just doesn't show up.

This happens with every other Java program I've tried (a program called Vue, another program called Thinking Rock), and it seems to happen only to programs written in Java. I've installed the latest updates for Java, so I believe i have the latest version. I tried searching these forums, but I can't find a solution to this. To get the screenshot, this is what I did: I opened it, clicked new, and none of the buttons worked, and upon exiting it asked me that. Sometimes if I mouse around some stuff shows up, but I can't get to a lot of stuff.
