Java programs have a odd lag?

when I go to play a Java based game for example, im getting this weird slow lag... this is with all java programs (only tested web based programs) My mac is fine, and it runs great im on OS X snow leopard Version 10.6.4 everything runs great like I said, just java programs run TERRIBLY slow... can anyone help me?

That's normal. Java freezes up every computer I have ever used for about 5-20 seconds.

its an endless slow lag.... I get about 2 frames per second... on any java program that is not normal. on my old XP computer with less then a gig of ram and no Videocard I had better preformance.

I have the same problem as you and cant find a way o fix it.. im trying to play runescape but wont work.. it worked perfectly for about a month ago or so.. but now it just sucks please give us help anyone
