iPod touch Java????

Can the IPT run java?
Also, can the IPT run programs in the background, like multiple logins or use VPN clients to connect to a network or exchange server? Still trying to justify buying this for work.

Doubt it... Apple Folk said that they wouldn't implement anything that allows other programs to run inside of it (a safety feature). The rest is still a go with the future update (its no longer speculation...)
