I was wondering how is the phone when your a little far from it? say around 10-12 feet? I get bad reception at my desk so wanted to put my phone by the window. Does it get staticy?

I use to use a Jawbone with my iPhone and it worked okay, but it didn't reach any farther than any other BT headset I've used.

I used to have a Motorola SLVR (L7) phone and a Motorola H500 BT headset. I could leave my phone on my kitchen table and walk around "reasonably" far, meaning the entire first floor, up the stairs and into my den on the second floor that is open to the first floor (railing) with just a bit of static here and there. With my iPhone/Jawbone combination I sometimes get static if I just have my iPhone on the opposite side of my body as the BT headset, let alone be able to step away from it. I'm not sure if it's the phone, the headset or both as I switched both at once.
