Jawbone Paired to MBP

GM. I have a Jawbone Icon with Noise Assassin. It is able to pair to 8 devices and have 2 active simultaneously. The vendor states that it is designed to work with phones and if a customer uses it with a computer, then they are on their own. I'm find with that. My sound with the phone is clear. My sound with the MBP BT works but crackles. My Skype calls sound clear on the receiving end.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve the sound on the MBP side?
