Here's a tip for you peeps who own a jawbone prime but cannot get it to voice dial via the Jawbone prime device:

If you have it already paired, do the following:

1) Go to your iPhone - Settings -> General -> Bluetooth; ensure it's ON, if you see your JAWBONE entry in the listing of devices, select it and then choose FORGET THIS DEVICE.

2) TURN OFF YOUR IPHONE via the Power button -> Slide to turn off.

3) TURN OFF YOUR JAWBONE PRIME.

4) TURN ON YOUR IPHONE. Wait for it to reboot. Then go to the bluetooth settings. Be sure your bluetooth is ON and it should be awaiting a device to pair.

5) (on the jawbone prime) HOLD THE LED SIDE button THEN HOLD THE TOP BUTTON (The voice dial button - in the back nearest the ear/hanger). Hold BOTH TOGETHER for >4 seconds.

6) Jawbone prime will flash WHITE/RED alternating.

7) iPhone 3GS will detect it and then you want to pair the two.

8) Optional steps: Turn off your iPhone. Then turn off your jawbone prime.

9) restart your iphone, then your jawbone prime. They both should now be paired.

10) push that TOP button (not the button where the LED is located) but the button near the back of the jawbone prime. HOLD IT for >2 seconds until you hear ONE BEEP - then it will do the VOICE COMMAND beeps (similar to the iphone but you hear it via the bluetooth headset now).

It will work. I had a tough time getting it to work - but unpairing, then turning off and on iphone and jawbone device made it work.

It's so trivial but sometimes the simplest things make things work. good luck :)
