Just bought a new macbook and want to load off my old windows laptop. Has anyone used Jay Brokers? They seem legit. I hate the hassle of ebay and craigslist because all I get are scammers.

Yep...I've used them a couple times to shed some mac stuff. My last deal was a macbook pro 2.4g 17". If I recall it was worth about $1,700 and jayb gave me around $1,400. I figured the $300 difference was worth the alternative of dealing with ebay or craigslist. Great service though, top notch. I've got a $25 bonus if you'd like it..jlmk.

They Sell Your Info To Hackers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

send your item to them only if you want your data to be sold to hackers!

I sent them my laptop and after 10 days my data was sold to a third party site, all of them! I was lucky because I have lifelock and they monitor all black market sites for my information. tried contacting them by phone, no answer!

scary! but i was lucky, don't let it happen to you.

i've already reported them to the AG.

Why didn't you wipe your HD before you sent it to them? That's basic common sense.
