JB 2G buying advice

I have a 3G, but someone I know is selling a 2G (JB 1.1.4 8gb) for £140 that I was going to get for my missus. I was wondering what to look for when buying a JB 2G iphone, anything to test or look for?

Also will there be any issues have a 2.0.1 3G and a 1.1.4 2G on one itunes account?

The fact it's jailbroken shouldn't be an issue, it can easily be upgraded to 2.0.1 and jailbroken again and unlocked if required.

There shouldn't be an issue with iTunes and two iPhones

just look for physical signs of damage, light leak, dead pixels, scratches

and the iphone can be updated to 2.0.1 and then re-jailbroken, and can be used perfectly well with the other iphone 3g

Cheers guys, so if I JB 2g to 2.0.1 there is no way it will affect my 3G (which I dont want to JB) when I next sync it etc?

Also are there any negatives to JB 2.0.1 versus 1.1.4?

Is £140 resoanable for boxed and in good cond, looked pretty good compared to ebay prices.
