JB 3G with 4.2.1, but itunes downloads 4.2 ?

Hello out there

I have a jailbroken 4.1 Iphone 3G

I want to update to 4.2.1 with redsn0w, but when i follow this guide

it tells you to update the iOS to 4.2.1 thru iTunes. BUT
When i try to do that, it only downloads iOS 4.2
Is this 4.2 really the same as 4.2.1 ???
