i want to apologize ahead of time if there is already a thread on this i did a search and had no luck finding much having to do with my problem

i am a att customer and i jailbroke my phone mostly for themes my question is do i need to unlock as well even though im an att customer the phone just says no service, i didnt have this problem when i jb my 3g phone so....i guess im asking if i need to unlock to get service with the new jb and if not if theres a way to fix this problem thanks again

if you are with AT&T, you only need to jailbreak.
Unlocking is for people with a different carrier (ex: t-mobile).
if you aren't getting any service, I recommend rebooting or re-inserting the sim card. If that doesn't work, just restore the phone back to 3.0 and jailbreak with purplera1n. that's all you need to do.
