JB 4.0.1 to 4.2.0

I want to upgrade my jailbreakme 3GS from 4.0.1 to 4.2.0

I did do the SHSH in Cydia, not that I really know what its for...Modem Firmware is 05.13.04, I think this is the baseband right? Again dont know what this is for...I just want to be able to re-jailbreak, I dont really care to be unlocked since I use AT&T anyway.

What process would you suggest I do? How will I be able to re-load my Cydia apps, especially ones I paid for?

Ha, thanks but just been reading so many posts about different ways to do it that my head was spinning...thought someone could just help me out

I did just fallow the wizard if you can't figure it out with that don't jailbreak tutorials everything is there! btw it's 4.2.1 not 4.2.0

Almost 3hrs later but all seems to come out fine....just a pain I have to re-install most of my apple apps and most of my cydia apps.
