Hi everyone. This applies to all devices but I've got a jail broken iPad 3 on iOS 5.1.1. As you know, there are several apps such as iPhoto and iMovie that have updates but require iOS6. I also have an app called Shuttersnitch that has an update available that I don't want (Apple is making them remove functionality - don't get me started). This is causing 2 problems. First, I have update notifications that I can never clear and second, I can no longer update all my apps at once with the Update All button (updating one at a time with the app store exiting each time blows chunks).

Does anyone know of a jailbreak app that would let me remove specific apps from the update check? I hate having a bunch of update notifications that I can't clear and I hate not being able to use my Update All button because I don't want to update my Shuttersnitch. It would be nice to get more control over app updates.

Update Hider
But I'm not sure you can use the Update all button with it.

Personally, I install updates one at a time.
Takes a few minutes longer but can avoid an infrequent disaster.
You should consider this also, since if your iPad3 craps out, you must go to iOS6
You have no safety net.
