JB on custom 4.3.3 whilst 4.3.4 is out

I've got a locked phone that I can unlock for free. I realise to unlock the phone, I need to restore and "update" the phone. Now that 4.3.4 is out, can I re-JB (phone is currently JB'ed) using the custom 4.3.3 IPSW so that when it is restored and "updated" that it will give me the nice screen to tell me that it's unlocked? or have I missed the boat with working on 4.3.3?

Btw, blobs are saved (whatever it does??)!

If you've got blobs for 4.3.3 then you can restore to it. Blobs are used to restore to firmwares that Apple no longer signs.

If you're using a software or Gevey unlock, you're not going to get the "nice screen" in iTunes telling you it's unlocked. If you're using an official unlock, you will get the message after a restore.
