If your iPhone is the new bootrom you are screwed because you can't restore to 3.1.2 or 3.1.3, sorry. But if it's the old bootrom then you can use
this.
In "My Settings" it displays 3.1.2 and I haven't connected my phone to iTunes in a few months, although I have D/L'd updates from iTunes thru my phone for my paid for apps a while ago.
Cydia now displays the following:
[Error: Refreshing Data]
GPG error:
http://repo.smxy.org xena Release:
The following signatures were invalid:
NODATA1 NODATA2

Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
(Okay)
Selecting "Okay" displays the "Reloading Data" text and spinning icon for about 2 minutes, then it displays:
"3 Essential Upgrades"
One or more essential packages are currently out of date. If these upgrades are not performed you are like to encounter errors.
(Upgrade Essential)
(Complete Upgrade)
(Ignore (Temporary)
So I select "Complete Upgrade" and then "confirm" button in the upper right corner.
The process begins and a bunch of stuff gets downloaded and installed, and then I get a pop-up dialog stating:
http://repo.beyouriphone.com
Host unreachable
(Okay)
I click "OK" and immediately get:
http://repo.beyouriphone.com
Cached Failure
(Okay)
I click "OK" and I get:
http://repo.beyouriphone.com
Cached Failure
(Okay)
Then the original message I posted above re-appears:
[Error: Refreshing Data]
Failed to fetch
http://repo.beyourowniphone.com/./Release.gpg Host unreachable
Failed to fetch
http://repo.beyourowniphone.com/./en.bz2 Cached failure
Failed to fetch
http://repo.beyourowniphone.com/./Packages Cached failure
Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
(Okay)
I click "OK" and the "Reloading Data" and spinning "wait" icon reappears for a few minutes.
After that, I get:
(Close Cydia Restart)
I select it, and it returns me to the springboard.
I then re-launch Cydia, and no errors.
But when I try to launch my phone app 2x in a row (open it, close it, re-open it) I get a black screen with just the title bar (Time, battery meter, etc...) and the device is still not acting quite right.
Any suggestions?
I do have an app called "AptBackup" installed.
Should I backup everything and start from scratch?
