This seems to be just an off the cuff remark, but Paul Boutin of Wired News claims that Jeff Bezos (of Amazon.com) can build a better music store than the iTMS.
It's a really small comment, though. As the 43rd way to "save the internet", Paul says: "Unleash Jeff Bezos, rock star C'mon, Jeff, you can build a better music store than the dude in the black turtleneck or Mr. Bill." I believe the "dude in the black turtleneck" is Steve Jobs.
I think the article is pretty lame -- a lot of the things he mentions are just ridiculous and probably unattainable without a SIGNIFICANT reworking of the internet or putting significant burdent on companies (portable e-mail addresses?), and some of the things he mentions won't change the internet at all (Jeff Bezos making a music store).
Even his "Apple To-Do List" section is pretty lame (ways 79-83): iPhone, Finding Nemo browser for kids, iDVR, Safari for Windows, iPod for movies.
I must admit, though, that I DID laugh at his "Developers, developers, developers should be accountable, accountable, accountable," a sentiment that I would heartily echo. See way 52.
