Hi all,

I've been having a problem with my thunderbolt display when in bootcamp with either Windows 7 or 8 on my mid 2012 MBP (non retina).

It appears to work, but when I play a video, or try to play a game on it, the performance seems to lag periodically (meaning every few seconds), producing a short buzzing noise in the audio. At first I thought it was a driver issue with Windows, but I'm starting to think I may just have a defective display? It's certainly annoying enough that I just never use bootcamp because of it...

By the way, it works flawlessly in OS X.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm about ready to sell it and get a 4K monitor instead, because I tried hooking up my MBP to my TV and it worked great.

Thanks!

I suppose I'll try to get rid of it, somehow. I wish I had realized this was likely a defect rather than a driver problem, earlier.
