Jerky playback of video in iPhoto

I am noticing that my videos are not playing smoothly anymore in iPhoto. I have a MacBook Pro running Lion with 4 GB memory and 2.53 HGz Core i5 processor.

Never used to have this problem. Any ideas? Thanks.

iPhoto is not designed to play video movies. Video files could be getting too large.
Move them over to iMovie and see if you get same problem.
I always say all forms of video should be on a external hard drive.
