There's something to be said about a nicely worn item that you handle everyday. Maybe this is something that Apple will in the future start to feature as a color. Like a pair of distressed jeans.

When I first got my black apple leather case I hated how new it looked. I wanted to slide it across the concrete to give it some character lol.

Any body oils or darkening is welcome on a leather case, but minimal on the cuts and scratches.
