Jet black lightning charging port scratching

Not that it bothers me too much. But I am starting to notice that the black around the lightning port is scrapping off and looks silver. Only had the phone about a week. Does anyone else notice this?

Metal against metal contact will eventually remove the paint when you plug and unplug multiple times per day.
You'll be fine.

Did what? I always try plugging in my lightning cable and I never am able to get it in on the first attempt. It generally hits the outside of the phones charging port a few times.

Try being more careful when using the lightning port. It might help.

My lightning port is perfect but my antenna bands on my jet black has a ton of micro scratches!
