iPod touch jiggly icons

another newbie question, not a repeat of 10 posts of buying an 8gb touch and if it was safe to jailbreak ala linden, but when do the icons become jiggly. only noticed it one time on my touch.

keep pressing any icon, untill the wiggle. After replacing, just press the Home button.

Yeah, this is useful for moving webclips and applications around on your home screen (or indeed home screens)
You can create a new page for apps and web clips by dragging an icon (while wiggling) to the right hand side of the screen.
You can have four or less icons in the dock
Up to 9 pages of homescreens

thanks for the replies. just happened to see it one time jiggling and didnt know how i activated it, knowing it was included in the jan app update.
