Jittery animations

My new 13" MBA 256Gb, 2.13Ghz has been fantastic, I use it for Cinema 4D and Xcode, for which it has been really fast compared to my old rev. c, giving me about the same Cinema 4D performance as one of my old 20" Alu C2D 2.0Ghz iMac's. The one problem I am now having with it is the jittering of simple animations. For instance, when I open an application the bouncing on the dock goes at about 1FPS. It is not just the bouncing on the dock, but also other nice touches such as the go to full screen animation in iPhoto. This is no serious problem, but it is sort of annoying, and I just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this with theirs.
