Has anyone here tried/gotten a jmicron esata express card to work on vista on a late 2008 MBP in bootcamp? I've been hitting head against wall with an error:

"This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)"

It works just fine in OS X though, so the hardware is obviously ok.

I've not yet tried XP, but having failed on 32 and 64 bit vista, I'm hot holding hopes high.

Ok.. after trying XP.. seems to work fine there. weird. Seems to be a compatibility problem with vista and the MBP firmware, at this stage, looks like apple need to release an update.. well, I hope they do anyway, it's kind of annoying.

Cannot get any to work.

iMacDragon,

Did you come up with a solution to your issue (other than reverting to Windows XP?) I have now tried 5 different esata express cards with my Unibody Macbook Pro and every single one gives me the same windows 'Code 12 - not enough resources error'.

Apple don't seem interested - neither do the card manufacturers!

I have one and used it in XP, it works... Jmicron 360 as well, unbranded expresscard.
