What kind of look are you going for?
To me, it feels like a kids watercolor paint craft. Also, I think the red underline clashes with the softer pastel colors.
Also, your name read "McBlair" to me for some reason. Maybe if you add some separation between the "M" and "Blair"? (and probably between "Joe" and "M" as well)

I was going for a kind of hand crafted site and easy on the eyes, put most of the focus on the photos. Since it's going to be for my photography. Also I do agree the red doesn't really fit. However I don't see the "McBlair".
If you want to put the focus on the photos, then the principle "less is more" would definitely apply.
If it were me, I would start again and go minimalistic.
Regarding "McBlair", maybe I was seeing that before because the "L" kinda looks like a "C".
