iPod touch John Lennon 8GB Ipod Touch?

Is Apple only putting Lennon Legends 16GB Ipod Touch's because I went to go get one today and no one had heard of, or had any in-stock. They all had 16GB's, though, so it makes me wonder...

If you did get one or see one, can you tell my what week it was made?

Just picked up my Touch and it's a week 45.
