Hi there,
I’m after your thoughts on the following concern I have.
I recently returned my iPad Pro 12.9 2018 to John Lewis as part of their added care warranty. The iPad had began to warp and subsequently I believe the screen had cracked.
Fortunately because of the cover I have it went down as accidental cover and the repair was carried out without any questions asked.
My concern is that the sender for the repair return is Laptop Power NW LTD which I believe to be:
www.laptop-power.co.uk
A flick through their website suggests they deal in (non-Apple) screen repairs rather than authentic screen replacements.
Should I be surprised that John Lewis don’t use Apple to repair. Am I justified to be annoyed as it isn’t a like for like replacement, invalidates any Apple support and limits the resale value?
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
