Jon Stewart today shared a promo for his upcoming Apple TV+ show "The Problem With Jon Stewart," which is set to launch this September.

The three minute video that was shared on Twitter features a comedy skit making fun of tech company billionaires and space aficionados Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Richard Branson.

The full video can be watched over on Twitter, and we're not going to embed it here on the site because it's very not safe for work.

Bezos is played by Jason Alexander, while a mop takes on the role of Richard Branson. The short also stars Tracy Morgan.

We still don't know a whole lot about Stewart's upcoming show, but Apple has described it as a multiple season single-issue series with each episode to be about an hour long. "The Problem With Jon Stewart" will be Stewart's first television series since "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" ended in 2015.

Jason Alexander is funny.

A cat as Mark Zuckerberg is awesome.

The 3 space ships shooting at each other with "laser beams" is hilarious. I would have used the actual line from Austin Powers, but it might be misinterpreted as trying to bypass the profanity filter, and I don't want to be a naughty boy.

EVERYONE said the Bezos' machine looked more like a Bezos' tool when watching this today at work. He HAD to know that the design would draw such comments I mean it looks like what everyone says it looks like, and nothing else!

Funny video, I enjoyed it...

Well, for all the trolls who continue to claim  tv+ is all PG this trailer, which MacRumors would not link directly, should put that myth to rest. As to whether it is funny or not, comedy is subjective and satire particularly so. I don’t really care whether you find it funny and you likely don’t care whether I care, so can we all just agree we don’t care?

All I see is in the promo is the jealousy of John Stuwart, or is it Jonathan Stuart? Maybe it's Jon Stewart. Hey, who is he anyway?

This was funny when I was 14 and watching Austin Powers.

Now it makes me wonder how someone much older than me still has the humor of someone much younger than me.

Plus the world's most valuable tech company that has a spaceship campus taking shots at tech billionaires and whose late CEO built one of the most over the top yachts ever made . . .

A little self-deprecating humor toward Apple would have helped. Something about Tim Cook and the spaceship. I don't know. I'm not a writer, but they could have done something.

Wow, there is a lot to unpack there. The fact that someone older than you has been able to maintain the youthful humor or someone much younger than you is something we should all strive for. Losing that is exactly where "ok boomer" came from. On a side note, saying Apple is taking "shots at tech billionaires" is the kinda like blaming CNN for the first Gulf War. I don't think you need to worry about anyone mistaking you for a writer of any sort

If Apple ever makes a show where they make fun of themselves then I’ll subscribe.

Thus is so unfunny. And I actually still enjoy Austin Powers even in my 30s.

Alexander is doing a Dr Evil impression I assume…that’s named Bezos, but acts nothing like either one…I assume this is so that Apple greenlights it and apparently the rule is silicon valley millionaires can’t make fun of other Silicon Valley millionaires?

I agree that Bezos’ rocket is a bit too on the nose.

SpaceX’s rockets are only remotely suffering from ****likeness. They just look like…rockets?

Branson’s ship doesnt even look like a ****. It’s more

3 minutes of jokes inspired by a poor understanding of physics and engineering in favor of genitalia jokes. Sorry that spheres, cubes or triangles are not efficient for atmospheric flight.

And no, can’t take this not seriously because it’s humor…cuz it’s not. It’s corporate humor with filthy words at best, and I’m not at work where I have to laugh for my boss.

There is no doubt that Musk is an ego driven jerk but at least what he is doing with SpaceX is real and not just playtime for millionaires.
You are 100% correct. Expect him to make a lot of money when SpaceX goes public.

What’s funny about billionaires pushing us into space? The one who is successful will change our future forever. Millionaires, like Stewart, are upset billionaires don’t just sit around and play on their yachts like they parody they do?

No one has claimed that in months. There are many adult-oriented shows, movies and content on Apple TV+.

However, this trailer is objectively bad. I like Jon Stewart and I'm sure there were a lot of talented people behind and in front of the camera for this but it's a single joke stretched out to over 3 minutes and I still haven't laughed. I want to defend it and say that it was slapped together very fast to beat the penis rocket news cycle but they obviously spent a fair amount of time and money on the production. I hope that Jon Stewart's show will be nothing at all like this trailer thing.

This trailer is lame but the pint of it isn't the how, it's the why. It's clear that these billionaires are driven by their ego (penis) and since there's no ego equivalent on Earth and they are all billionaires already, they can only go to space to prove they are the best. Humanity would choose a yacht-residing billionaire that shows true philanthropy over a rich, space cowboy any day but since this is just about ego, clicks and eyeballs, we get stuck with this for now.
