We have a couple of Chase cards already so it should be a painless switch, but it'll be interesting to see how they structure the perks. Chase's ubiquitous Freedom Unlimited is only 1.5% back and has foreign transaction fees, so if they gut the Apple card to match that'll be a bummer.

How much say will Apple have in the transition and the perks? If memory serves, the 2% cash back was an Apple thing. Not sure about the foreign transaction fees.

Also, GS wants to keep the savings accounts. and Chase, too, will offer savings.

It's going to get interesting.

Hope the same cash back will apply with Chase.

Chase normally does not like me with their lower credit limits compared to Apple Card's $10K limit.

Should be interesting.

I wish they would change the payment network from MasterCard to Visa, since I'm a member of Costco under my moms account and you know in the Costco Stores they only take Visa Credit or Debit Card, So If I every had to stop at Costco my self I would have to use my moms Visa card since I the only visa branded card I have is my debit card, So if the Apple Card changed payment network to visa, then I could use my apple card at Costco, I Know when Chase takes over they are sticking with the Master Card network

I'm hearing that the Chase Apple Card will, in fact, continue to run on the MasterCard network.

It’s going to require getting an entirely brand new card number and physical card (if you have one). The switch is supposed to be automatic. Hopefully the switch is painless.

Also there will be a new saving account run by Chase, but the older one run by Goldman Sachs isn’t going away, so that will require a manual transfer.
